The CASA program is part of a national network of nearly 1,000 community-based programs across the country that recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to act as advocates and mentors for the best interest of abused and neglected children and teens.
CASA of Lancaster and CASA of Berks County serve hundreds of vulnerable youth in the foster system each year, but are unable to meet
the need of a volunteer advocate for every child in foster care. CASA receives no direct federal or state funding and relies on community support (grants, sponsorships and donations) for financial stability.
Be the one to make a difference in a child's life and help support those still in need.
