Annual Heroes Gala Raises $100,000 for Court Appointed Special Advocates

LANCASTER, PA (October, 11, 2018) – Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lancaster County recently hosted their annual Heroes Gala and Benefit Auction on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Lancaster Marriott At Penn Square. The evening raised nearly $100,000.

“We are very grateful for the commitment to positive change demonstrated by everyone who gave so generously,” states Executive Director Jessica Laspino. “It's always great to see the community work together to help abused and neglected children!”
During the evening, the Lancaster 8 Ball League and Riverside Camping Association each received the “Hero in the Life of a Child” award for their generous commitment to the success of this communities’ most vulnerable youth. CASA Volunteer Advocate Dianna Wills was named the Clark Family Foundation Volunteer of the Year for her work on behalf of abused and neglected children. She has advocated for the same child since May, 2015.
