Make the Summer Days Brighter for Kids in Foster Care

LANCASTER, PA (July 8, 2019) – For most kids, summertime means carefree days spent with family and friends…playing outside, trips to the beach, and many memories made. Those happy-go-lucky days, however, don’t always happen for kids in foster care. Those in care are often changing schools and homes…changing friends and family… adding increased anxiety and stress. Those summer days that are supposed to be filled with fun and laughter, can make those in foster care feel lonelier. CASA of Lancaster County is providing you an opportunity to come alongside one of those children and make their days brighter.

CASA of Lancaster County provides court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children in the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and permanent home. Please join us at one of our upcoming Information Sessions to learn how you can become a CASA Volunteer:

-Tuesday, July 16th, 12 pm at LCBC Church, Lancaster Campus
-Monday, August 5th, 6 pm at Salem United Methodist Church
-Tuesday, September 10th, 12 pm at Community Action Partnership
